Located at the top of Burleigh Ridge, with dual road frontage to George and Mount Streets, the site represented the perfect infill development opportunity. Together with John Cameron Architects, Coco-dash Landscape Architecture and DNBS Consulting Engineers, HOPD were able to overcome the site’s narrow 10m width, steep slope, underground infrastructure and zoning and density constraints to obtain an approval for two (2) architecturally designed, Dual occupancy dwellings.

  • Strategic guidance on project and DA strategy;
  • Preparing key planning arguments to support the proposed use and density;
  • Preparing key planning arguments to support increased site cover and reduced setbacks to maximise the site’s development footprint;
  • Preparing, lodging and managing the development application to approval; and
  • Preparing, lodging and managing an “other change” to approval to facilitate a revised development footprint to improve the sewer realignment and amendments to the client’s future home.
